The essays and poems in this book were written during the COVID-19 pandemic. Editor Marcia Meier organized a weekly writing session over Zoom in March 202, and this anthology contains many of the pieces that were written or started in her Saturday sessions.

We are deeply grateful to the writers, and especially Patricia Smith, Shauna Potocky, and Kathleen Roxby, who read and recommended pieces. Special thanks to Jamie Wallace, who commandeered Asana and kept the editor sane.

You can buy the book on all bookselling platforms, including Amazon, Barnes and Noble and (our favorite) Bookshop.org, which supports independent booksellers. It can also be ordered from any bookstore, so please order from your favorite local book purveyor.
